Out of curiosity, what would be the fastest possible mech, under the following:
1. Without using any physical enhancements or a Supercharger, just total tonnage and an engine rating. Keep the weight of the Gyro, Cockpit and Internal Structure in mind, and also assume you are have at least a half ton of armor and at least a half-ton for weapons and equipment.
2. With physical enhancements, such as TSMs or MASC, and/or Superchargers.
I need this for determining some limits.

Fastest 'Mech technically possible is a 10-tonner with composite/Endo-Steel structure, small cockpit, and a 290XXL for 29/44 movement. Can be either biped or quad, and is completely unarmored.
Allocating 1 ton for armor/weapons, the fastest is instead 27/41 movement with a 270XXL with otherwise the same specs.
Fastest 'Mech technically possible with MASC and supercharging is again a 10-tonner with composite/Endo-steel structure, small cockpit, but with a 260XXL augmented with MASC and supercharging for a total movement of 26/39(65).
Allocating 1 ton for armor/weapons, the fastest drops to a 230XXL with a movement profile of 23/35(58)

Did you use XL Gyros for any of those?
An Interface Cockpit (sans Gyro) would be 1 ton lighter than a Small Cockpit + 3 ton Gyro (for engine ratings 205 through 300).
However, it would also be 0.5 tons heavier than a Small Cockpit and a 1.5 ton XL Gyro.
It's a shame that TSM can't be combined with MASC, because then we could get them even faster.
