------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== Ther serpent is a unmanned battlemechcapable of taking order and operating itself on the battlefield it was designed so that mech combat could take place without endangering the lives of the pilot by putting a partially autonamus battlemech control system into the cockpit to suppliment a organic pilot. this is one of the onlyo models that come with the AI cockpit system.
==Capabilities:== Being unmanned it is capable of taking on the most dangerous of missions without the risk of losing human life. That it is also a cpable CQB mech as well with an assortment of close to medium range weaponary. carrying the maximum armours and are fiarly agile to boot. in small mercenary companies there are more of them in service than tanks.
==Battle History:== Originally introduced by the 501st vortex rikers PMC mercenary unit.the serpent was known to lul an enemy unit into a false sanse of security or if encounteredbefore put them in sense of fear. this is due to its deceptive 'baa' sound it makes when approaching the combat area. In contradiction to the irving mechs. It's array of mid to clsoe range weapons make it ideal in city fighter. as seen on new avalon when steiner mechwarriors. were in the middle of engaging Capellan Confederation invadors whiest the 501st were under thier employ.
