==Overview:==
Built more towards the smaller, weaker bandit caste members who
were trained on laborer caste exoskeletons and not for what few
elementals had joined the bandit caste, the Salvo society armor
was born more out of accident than need. Originally built by
Hell's Horse's scientist Sarif, the Salvo was meant as a
city-deployed, garrison suit that could be easily used by
non-elemental phenotypes; a display of forward-thinking rarely
seen in other lcan members.

In being one of the few scientists who knew (and rebeled) against
the Society, Sarif was killed and his armor was stolen for the
armor-poor scientist cabal. Realizing what plans he had made
could be very useful, the shadowy caste began producing limited
numbers of the "Salvo", arming nearly every firebase in Society
hands with at least an Un's worth by 3073.

==Capabilities:==
Built using an Elemental chassis as a base (but heavily
strengthening the structure throughout) the "Salvo" mounts
slightly more armor in exchange for an absolutely massive payload
for it's size. Its many disadvantages were ignored when the
Scientists cabal saw that a single suit was capable of destroying
a light battlemech in a single blast- and that a full point was
able to demolish or seriously hurt even a Dire Wolf. When they
realized that is was also built for weaker, smaller inviduals not
apart of Elementals breeding stock, the Society rushed the armor
into production.

It was a terrible mistake. For one, while the ability to make use
of smaller, less physically able warriors meant the Society could
field more troops, it meant that the more skilled and stronger
Elementlas couldn't use them at all- making most Salvos
inexprienced in it's use. Worse, the suit suffered countless bugs
and mechanical failures, as the enormous SRM launchers (and their
attendant exhaust ports) caused undue stress and heat on joints
and lubricants- a holdover from it's rushed production, which
caused many suits increased downtime. Pilots were forced many
times to "lock" the chassis before firing, which made targeting
the slow armor easy for better trained, hardened clan pilots.

Though the use of widespread Mutagenic Virotherapy helped in the
short term to deal with the comparitive weakness of Bandit caste
armor warriors, it was not enough to stave the Society (and the
Slavo) from destruction. While as of this writing Clan Stone Lion
is studying the suit and is deciding on it's "Taint", for now the
Salvo is nothing more than a memory.
