Capabilities A 25-ton chassis weighed in at 5 tons heavier than some of the most commonly used "bug 'Mechs" of the Succession Wars. Six tons of armor provided excellent protection compared to most other lights, and a 175 fusion engine provided excellent speeds, only one step down from the famed Locust and Spider 'Mechs, outrunning most other light 'Mechs, while having the same speed as the ubiquitous Jenner. Armament was impressive for such a light 'Mech--Two Medium Lasers (One in each arm), two Small Lasers (One in each side torso), and a pair of Machine guns mounted in the same locations as the small lasers, with one ton of ammo, stored in the center torso. The three heat sinks outside the engine were mounted with one in each torso section. Variants Sharpshot SGRA-25b: The "Royal Sharpie," produced during the Star League before the SGRA-25, for SLDF units. Upgrades heat sinks to double-strength versions and redistributes them through the side torsos. Medium Lasers are upgraded to Pulse versions, engine upgraded to 200 XL, allowing speeds of 130 kph, chassis upgraded to Endo-Steel, armor to Ferro-Fibrous. Machine Guns and Small Lasers removed; ER Large Laser mounted in center torso. Sharpshot SGRB-25: Designed from salvaged Sharp Shots in the mid-31st Century as a Solaris duellist. Installs a more powerful 200-rated XL engine for greater speed, and mounts a hatchet in the right arm for brawling. Also mounts two ER Medium Lasers, one in each side torso, and a Small Pulse Laser in each torso location, plus upgrading heat sinks to double-strength versions.
