So what do folks use for flocking when they are basing the miniatures?

Stuff you put on the base to fill it in and give it a finish, ala grass, sand, dirt etc...go look at the pictures of finished miniatures and look the bases.

I generally use standard railroad flocking. I have mixed my own blend of colors, but don't use that so much any more.

I use el cheapo green tea packets opened and spread on a base of white glue... If I want another type of ground, I'm either using colored sand for fish tanks + cyanoacrylate, or other types of tea.
