The salvage in mech 4 seems to be scripted..... anyone know of a way to make this not the case?

well if you have the mektek patches one way to get better mechs is to buy 4 chasis that is the base chasis with the model of mech you want to have and then once you have 4 of them sell them off and buy them back. Same goes for the salvage you get.

In Mechwarrior 4, you really only need to worry about how quickly you can destroy your opponent. Obviously, Micoshit didn't want us to think in a "Tactical" sense.
This doesn't mean, however, that you cannot get an assault 'mech early on, however...

I am talking about Veng here not mercs just so you know...
I'm up to op4 and have a mauler and some other stuff..... finished a mission and salvaged a Mad Cat (Timber Wolf.... what's with all the clan mechs in FedCom space?) and a Thanatos and i never saw them in the mission.... lolz

Yeah, it really scripted.
You will ALWAYS get those machines, but it doesn't mean that you can't use the lights for fun

Yeah.... I think I need to up the dificulty..... i'm on regular but it's just too easy.... i can solo all the missions.....
Maybe i should just skip vet and go to elite next.... hmmmm
