There has been a change in client.
The old version, which was being used when I first posted this is suffering terrible bugs and errors.
So I revoked it and uploaded another version.
Current version is based around Netmech Dos.
You need to download the latest version from the webpage again, install it, and then load up the start menu and get an opponent in the NetmechDos>Netmech Chat.

This works in Vista I hear, and XP/2k.
All you need to do is just download the package, find an opponent with our built in chat (start menu folder>netmech chat), and run the game!
