I've found Nickelback is a good accompaniment to any leisure activity involving extreme carnage Or Jethro Tull...yeah...they work...

For anything involving (simulated) violence I've found that anything hard and fast works well. Early Metallica, Ozzy, Drowning Pool(let the bodies hit the FFFFLLLLOOOORRRR!!!!!), Pantera, etc.

I was really just trying to name my favorites. I included everyone else with the etc. part.
P.S. Don't forget Exodus, Kirk Hammet's old band.

I like to listen to Killing Heidi and Something for Kate (two Australian bands) when I play computer games. Or sometimes, Silverchair. 'Executioner' is good music for Diablo II...
Yea, verily. Let it be known far and wide that Nightward loathes MW: DA. Indeed, it is with the BURNING ANIMUS OF A THOUSAND SUNS that he doth rage against it with.

Definately speed/thrash metal, like Ozzy or the early Metallica. For just general destruction and mayhem I also like Korn, System of a Down, Disturbed, and Black Sabbath ("Iron Man" is one of the best songs for BattleTech). One minor confession, though: During several chaotic battles, I have been caught listening to the Blues Brothers! Oh yeah!

In fact, at the house where we play, they shut off the TV too...
They have this CD which has classical Metallica...and by that, I mean, Metallical played by an orchestra. Very unique.
He also puts on this really wierd Gregorian Monk Chants.

Ya, I know the classical Metallica you're talking about. The album is like "Metallica Apocalyptica" or something. One time I was over at this guy's house and he was playing it, and I never realized it was Metallica until they got to the intro of "Call of Ktulu" and I was all, "Holy $#!$ it's Metallica!"
I need to find that CD.
