Looks like misguided 'enthusiasm' shown by some of the moderators at MMORPG.COM might have contributed to the current decline in user activities at MMORPG.COM's forums...

long story short:
Apparently MMORPG.COM tried to reduce the number of unwanted "negative comments" (sometimes AKA criticism) via increased moderation and got less comments / user paricipation / 'clicks' (to sell) in general instead.
Just like a farmer spraying some generous dose of broad spectrum herbicide onto a field to help his 'cash crop' (positive comments / hype / buzz on games in MMORPG.COM's case) grow more exclusively - at the expense of bio diversity (a variety of different opinions), killing almost everything else in the process, then start womdering where all the busy buzzing bees have gone...
... and why did they take all the fresh honey (sometimes AKA comtent) with them?
These ungrateful little [beep, censored]...
