Re: Fixing war

Ok,

A. Admittedly the hit and run is cheap I would like to see it go if I had a chance of actual survival.

B. Reinstating the 10% loss surrender would help me a lot with this issue.

C. Individual 1v1 warfare... hmmm I like that aspect a lot. Is there a way to allow for mercenaries to
be able kill but not capture zones? Don't think its possible still wouldnt stop the multiple dows.
So end DCs and multiple dows? Hurts the whole diplomacy aspect.

The economics of war can no longer be considered a viable solution is my only real valuable input at the moment... Far too many factions and empires have unlimited funding. The fixes must be made empire dependant as an approach is my opinion. It's sad but I even see my massive capabilities in the high level empires for eternal vee battles.

I like the 10% I even like the instant push of a button to surrender if you could keep people from abusing a hit and run tactic with it. ie I would use it.

What of faction leader empires becoming NPC in nature? This old game on Genie online used to have officers appointed to houses that would simply hand out orders and dish out resources. Is there a way to implement a consolidation of factions? Or player admins that manage factions to present a greater realism to political strife?.... I dunno just musing and ranting sorry...
