To that end it is designed to be a "do-all" 'mech. To that end I used mostly energy weapons as ammo is expensive. However I decided that I wanted a bit more punch so I added the Streak which despite the cost is worth it since no ammo is ever wasted and it is a handy crit-seeker. Somewhere I have more fluff if anyone is interested. |

The only change that I would do is change the IS from standard to ES, swoop the Streak SRM-6 for two Streak SRM-4s add a ML and a DHS. the cost increase is only 343,000 C-Bills or less than 4.6% The extra fire power is well worth the minimal cost increase. |

If you want to go with fractional accounting, add cargo with the remaining 1/4 ton |

Reminds me of the famous "downsized" Battlemaster...and that's a Good Thing(TM) |

The Endo Steel would kill the idea of the 'mech logisticaly, that is th eonly reason that I shyed away from it and F-F. |

I would remove the ER PPC, ER Large laser, and two DHS for a Gauss Rifle with two tons of ammo, myself. That would basically be the newer Battlemaster, just...lighter. |

You would come up 3 tons short as far as weight. Even if it would fit why would you strap a volitile weapon to a robust 'mech? Even better question: why would I give up 18 ranged damage for 15 that only lasts as long as the ammo? |

Kinda...Battlemastery. Decent use of technology. I'd want Endo Steel and (depending on the year) ER Medium Lasers. Fluff is what really makes a design. Without it all you have are numbers on paper. |

'Mech internals are (unlike armor) rarely replaced, and while in the wrong time period it can make finding replacement parts a little hard when you get sufficienty ground up to need them, Endo-Steel is more and more common on the battlefields these days. Soon, it'll be more difficult to find that older stuff. |

I am wondering when the amount of crits will drop since endosteel is so well used in the enter sphere now. I would like to see IS ESII that has like 10 crits. |

Quote: 'Cause I like Gauss Rifles ![]() Quote: Probably not until the Dark Age, when the Inner Sphere has rebuilt enough to begin bridging the gap between IS and Clan tech. I honestly wouldn't want to see it, because it would only outclass Ferro Fibrous more than it already has. |

The Inner Sphere is in technological stasis. It has had no revolutionary changes in military technology since the 28th Century, and is not scheduled to any time soon. In reality, the most obvious path of advancement for the Inner Sphere is the widespread adoption of Clan technology. |
