wheres the INFANTRY??

im a relatively new player to neveron still on newb island (whatever that means) and speaking to other players on online chat, i believe that i am carring everyones voice when i say:
WHERE IS THE INFANTRY? WE WERE PROMISED THEM BACK!!

yes along with all WWS other bs promises. WWS tells people what they want to hear pops in when the server rent is due and we never hear from him for months. he hasnt kept his word on alot of things and always has a bs reason. and yet we as a player base still play? lol prob the most stubborn player base ive ever been involved with.

There used to be way more than 2,000, way back in the day. Neveron has been dead for about 2.5 years now. If you can stand it, the playerbase can be ok at times. Then again, at other times, not so much. lol

if its the truth with backed up posts and or game wide up dates. it is not bashing. i can back up what i posted. bottom line dont make promises and not keep them. these are rules for life anyone can use. i for one havnt wws has end of rant.

And if you keep to the facts within the bounds of the posting rules, that's peachy. However, this sort of thread can go downhill fast. I was trying to heading off that trend.

Infantry were removed from the game due to thier excessive imbalanced power as they were in the game.
Many a player had tried to ABR a zone, only to find thier Mech had been wiped out by a SRM infantry that had been buried in a hole somewhere in that zone.
I cant swear to it, but I dont ever recall them saying they would definately bring them back. All the admins said was that they were removed for reworking. Yes, that implies that they would return, but that is an assumption on the part of the reader. They also never said when the rework would be completed, so again, assumptions.
As the current state of the game and its inactive admins are the first issue that needs addressing, any promises [assumed or otherwise] made way back when there was a 'staff' of admins can no longer be considered viable.
Wayward_Son is the only current / active admin for Neveron. He has had several major issues in his real life over the past several years. More recently, he has not been able to find time to dedicate to Neveron on a consistant basis. Help tickets get backed up, in game coding and programs slowly erode. only adding to the 'to do' list when WWS does manage to squeek a few hours into Neveron.
So my point? Dont hold your breath looking for Infantry any time this century...
