==Overview:==
Built as intrem design between the Fox class Corvette and Avalon Class Light
Cruiser, The Exeter is a simple design layout, mounting a majority of its
firepower in its FR/L, Broasides and RR/L arcs allowing a wide coverage of
support fire, the main weapon of choose for moderate range actions is the
trustworthy and reliable NAC/20, which in turn is supported by a array of
NL/55's for long range engagments. A battery of AR-10 are included for
additional AF/DS support along with 8 screen launchers for AL defence.
For close range firepower the Exeter is equipped with an array of ER PPC's,
RAC-5's, Small Pulse Lasers, and AMS, it is hoped the layered defence theory
will prove up to the standards as found on other ship's.
The Exeter also comes equipped with 4 drop points to carry what dropships
are assigned to it for whatever mission role the ship undertakes, for
additional protection the ship carries a compliment of 20 ASF for CAP or
strike missions
