The War Dragon was first built back in 2752 buy the Cap Con as their very first home grown Aero Space Assaset to counter many a Fighter of the day however that WD used standard SRMs and standard armor.
However the refitted 3060 War Dragon uses Streaks and a different class of armor while retaining the DHS of the first Dragon however the different can be easily seen that to the newer stream line of the fighter and the more aggressive look of the ship in of it’s self.
Though it has been more then 300 years since the first War Dragon s filled the Space and Holds of War ships and Drops from use of standard battles to Escorts as well as more then 100 of the SL era Dragons was built only 8 had ever survived the savage battles of the SWs.

But now many years Later the Dragon was given new life as it can handle much more damage then the older brother while losing no power and is much faster then the first as well.
It also Lacks the Costly XL Engine just like it’s older counter part making it cheaper and still easier to build
Making it one of the quickest to be fielded.
However it has been known for Targeting Malfunctions if the Ship goes in to a nose dive after another enemy fighter while with in a planet’s Gravity well and causes the weapons to be hard to fire and with a higher miss ratio that can be fixed by pulling up.
But the main Research team have been working on fixing this problem but yet to find the bug, however there has been no deaths and no fighters lost do to this problem and as such the fighters are still being built at this this time.
