Seems that over at BattleCorps they have a contest, you can join, submit a mech and if it get's picked you are canonized as the maker of the mech and it all legal to use in tourment play etc...remember to take part you need to join BC.

I won't be. I prefer lvel 1 myself, and never got the hang of building level 2 mechs.
