I know that given the probability of something happening (P), and a certain number of chances for it to happen (C), the probability of it happening every time is P^C, and the probability of it not happening in any of those chances is (1-P)^C. What I'm looking for is how to calculate the probabilities of it happening anywhere from once, twice, all the way up to (C-1) times.

Also, I know there are dice rolling programs, but does anyone know of one where you can input the type of die, and the number of dice to roll, and it will generate all the possible outcomes, sort the die rolls in each one from lowest to highest (or highest to lowest, it doesn't matter), then compile them and output a list with the numbers and how may times each combination comes up...
like..... :
(Input): 2d4
(Output):
1 1: 1
1 2: 2
1 3: 2
1 4: 2
2 2: 1
2 3: 2
2 4: 2
3 3: 1
3 4: 2
4 4: 1

...but with the capability to do up to 10d20... if at all possible.

Err.... not quite like what I said I needed...

In fact, exactly what I didn't need.

Sorry, my interpretation of what you wrote was different from what you meant by what you wrote.

Sounds like a program we had to do for CSC121 and part of a problem that we had to do for MTH370. You were on the right track with what you had started.
