Population Bug...

Alright, I've put in a help ticket about this and have pretty much been brushed off, so I want to see if anyone else here can help me out.

I am currently running at peak efficiency with 5,616 jobs, but here is the situation:

Total Rez-208 (all 150 CF, 4 Lvl, w/ Basement)
Total Com-41 (all 150 CF, 4 Lvl, w/ Basement)
Total Res-10 (all 150 CF, 4 Lvl, w/ Basement)
Total TC-2

Total Rez x 108= 22,464
Total Workers is 22,464/4=5,616

Total Com+Total Res+Total TC= 53 Buildings x 108 = 5,724 jobs

Is there something I am missing that would put me 108 jobs short of what I should have? I checked my zones several times before I put in the help ticket, several times before each time I re-opened that help ticket, and several times before I posted in here, and I still can’t find any building that isn’t 150 CF, 4 Lvl, with basement.

Well, since you have 208 residentials, you need 1/4th that many buildings, or 52. You have 53 buildings producing jobs. I would guess there's a display error on the econ summary page.

yea but he said he has 2 TCs and don't those need a crap load of workers?

I would like to say that its just a display error, but I'm running 100% (plus full faction bonus) on research. That would lead me to my second question regarding this problem...My two TC aren't producing the same amount of research points per nev day. Any idea there?

Considering that you have 208 residential buildings leaving room for only 52 of your 53 other buildings to be fully employed, I would assume that you do not have one of your research facilities tooled. The 100% plus faction research bonus tells me that you do not have them all tooled, becuase in less you truely have a bug, it would display a reduced number.

As for your TCs ouputting a different amount of RP/nevday, how far off are they? If it's only .0001 then it's probably just some obscure rounding error that doesn't really matter. If one is double the other then you most likely have one TC zone with a research doubler and the other as normal.

I have manually check all my research facilities and both TC's. They are all tooled.

As for the difference in TC output...I did add this to my last bug ticket, but the difference is exactly what a single 150 CF research fac would give me. My guess is that I have a tooled TC that is not giving me any jobs while still giving me the research points...
