Arena Battles?

Im wondering how arena battles work? More specifically, how would I enter one? I have a Zhukov Heavy Tank and I want to enter it in a battle. Im lvl 1 empire, soon to be lvl 2.
Also, how would you bet on an arena battle?
PS: Arena will replace your unit twice if it's destroyed, right? But on the third time, you have to buy another one yourself, right?

To create an arena go to the arena page and click on the create arena button. Choose the BV that the units will be and choose your unit. Fill out the other criteria. Click create.
To bet, when the arena says "Betting", click on the word. Click on the unit's button that says "bet on this unit" and enter in the amount you want to bet.
To your PS, that is correct.
Also, you may only bet 1,000,000 as a Level 1 and only 2,000,000 as a Level 2.

More than likely it'd be cheaper for you to use FFA to learn about combat. If are after some money, then betting would be much preferred, because Zhukov's battle value is too high and if you could easily lost if your opponent throw in a fast mech like spider...
In terms of lives, yes you do get 3 lives (i.e. the third time it dies in arena you lose the unit). However, you need to be aware that you'll lose skill everytime you lose the arena, that is, if you were originally 2/2 (pilot/gun), you'd become 3/3 after and 4/4 after second lose et al.

waste of time and money
