#1. Why is my morale -11,431?
#2 What keeps a larger empire to allow a small empire to capture a single research facility that is tooled for 150CF buildings, and then having the small empire use TP to finish the job, and getting 150CF buildings early?

#1: have you recently been publicly depantsed, and had red hot coals shove up your arse while your entire empires populace watched, and then, after it was over, smile, shake hands with the one that did it to you, and ask to have it done to you again? That could explain it, but im at a loss to come up with any reason why your moral would be that low otherwise.

#2 nothing at all but you'll need to find an emp that hasn't already researched 150CF buildings.

Side note about 150CF buildings.
I see that many new players think that getting high CF building is going to help them somehow. In reality it's just a waste of cash and time. New empires should just build 25-50 cf buildings with 4 levels and without basement. Look at the builings cost and the building points needed and do the math yourself.

I have to dissagree. Factories are extremely useful as 150 CF. If you need money quickly or need to build up your armies to attack pirates and etc., they are much faster at 150. Also, once you get enough to build one, you need 150 CF to build a research complex, which allows much faster research. Other than DP, there is probably no other way to get close to research mechs in the long run.
Just my two cents.

I have found 75cf buildings to be the best for my small empires, but I use a lvl 4 building crew, which puts a notable dent in your income.

If you are referring to morale.
The only way to decrease it is to either increase your by building more buildings or capturing them in war, destroying enemy units in combat (be it land war or arena duels) or just commissioning more military units.
EDIT: Yes morale does decay over time to reach it's equilibrium of 0.

Not exactly sure. But I believe it's related to your win-loss ratio in the arenas.
