My Blurb:
Ok, once again I'm too tired/lazy to write up some proper fluff,
but I came across this one in my files and I had to post it (it's
been slow lately so what the hey...). I'll let the design speak for
itself, lemme know if y'all like it

It looks like a jack-of-all trades, and it at least masters the long-range band fairly well with the GR and ER LL.

Okay, you've got four, count them, four different types of ammunition! This thing is insane!! Of course, if you truly want to make it a JMInc mech, you need to drop some of those small lasers for a machine gun and .5 ton of ammo in the head. Then, it'll be perfect!!!

Over all, it's a pretty decent mech. Good range of fire power and armor coverage. Nice work.

Can't...reduces the firepower too much...

I suppose I could a TZ-7b MG variant.

Actuall, if I really wanted to be daring, I'd drop the CASE in both torsos (with IS XL Engine it's really only for fluff/salvage purposes anyway) for a pair of MGs, and swap the ammo in for the ERSL in the head...hmmm...KJ is having a thought...

You, sir (and I use that term as loosely as possible... ), must be clinicly insane.

I like that. Shows good mental foundations for us to build upon.

*sigh* I recall the days when a 'Mech design post would get 5 or 10 diff people responding

And the days of at least 2-3 new designs per day...

One can picture this on Solaris 7 or in the hands of WoB troops trying to capture some planet some where in some alternate universe...

Seriously, alot of small lasers for any design, unless its designed to spot-weld steel-fram buildings, I'd replace them with some standard MLs or something.

If they were standard SLs I'd agree with ya, but the ER models have the range to actually be useful. Works well with the SRM for taking out tanks too.

Besides, I already have enough MLs to max out the heat balance...more would just allow you to lose a couple without reducing your effective firepower.

It is shiny i say, a little strange but eh its a laser boat with a nasty gun on the side, my fighting style would be use the gauss to pin them down, blow aleg out, swap to lasers, remove sensor arrays, melt weapons ports shut, then call in slavage, not bad altogether and hey a old Battletech card once said 'Small lasers and machine guns are not end all weapons, they are a step towards Real weapons' but in a design like this, they work pretty damn good.its got some hefty close range missle power too; good for hosing, or say blowing air units away at range, scary armament for only a 70 tonner.
