Pinkslip Dueling

I was just thinking of ways to expand the arena system. How about dueling where the prize isnt really the money but the other unit! If you win, you get the other unit and the pilot and vice versa if you lose.
The unit would be completely fixed too. Win a nice mech maybe? hehe
Also this could be expanded to lances too, oooh, win 4 mechs instead hehe.
Of course, we still we keep the old system just incase you don't want to lose your nice assault mechs.

pink slips just asks to be abused to transfer elite pilots to a low lvl empire. Too abusable.

Good idea Wolfenkracken. Mechs go into empire mech stables and that should deal with abuse problems. Mechs would of course need to be repaired before use.
Everything on Nev is abuasble... abuse is not an excuse! 
Mentioned before, stabled mechs should have the ability to be returned to empire armies for LARGE penalty fee.

Nice addition, with the pink slips resulting in duelling stabled mechs, abuse is still possible but less likely to result in big changes in power. Now there only needs to be a way to both leave the pilots in their original empires, and make it possible to assign one of your own pilots in an easy way.. (to stop rtansfering a high-rep elite pilot down)

even if only stabled mechs are allowed to duell there is still room for abuse. elite pilots can be transfered this way.
but in my oppinion this abuse is neglectable. especially with the introduction of perfect soldiers.
a nice idea pinkslip duells for STABLED mechs.
