I would like to petition the Admins to put in a vehicle design console. This should be similar to to the tower design console. The one change would be, you could only use items you have researched. I believe this would go a long way to production of varied designs, and may even produce some of the best war machines. I do not know how long it would take to code something up, but I feel it would be a great improvement to overall game play. It would also allow research and production empires to flourish once again.

Sith, I wouldn't say that player-designed anything are always better than default vehicles. I'd say that it's only the case around ninety percent of the time. Having said that, I'm all for it

I want a tank with 2 lrm-10s, 2 ac-2s, and 1 ac-20. Maybe 20 or 30 armor on each side and like 1 ton ammo for each gun.

As has been previously announced several times, a new mech/vehicle research system is coming by the end of the summer. It is a huge project and we need to finish all these present and necessary issues first.

Um..that couldn't be more wrong. Most experienced players have gotten a massive amount of input into the game, but there is a big difference between being 'listened to' and being 'obeyed.' Krait had a HUGE amount of input, but as soon as certain things started not going his way (Krait would have been pleased has punch if the entire war part of the game was removed completely) he started throwing fits and insulting us. It's easy to make an argument that you are right when you don't know how to code anything, and 90% of your ideas are never implemented so they can never be proven wrong.
Just because everything you say isn't taken as gospel truth and obeyed as a commandment by us doesn't mean you don't have input. Input means that your concerns are taken into consideration...you are all one of many..many many, and whatever happens we are the ones who will be here when all of you are gone. Notice the game has outlived any of the players you mentioned. They all left their mark and every single one of them had a significant influence on where the game is today.

i'm not particulary happy about player designed vehicles and especially mechs.
there could be a massive inflation of mechs and vehicles, with lot of crappy and munchkin designs. a bit like AOW. or like lvl2 BT where all who were commercially involved introduced new mechs whenever they wanted. (just think about all the crap MS made for MW-4)
new designs could pop up faster than we could memorise their stats, a requirement to fight them.

damn you, the new designs, and the hardpoint systems in mw4 are cool.
Hardpoints made mechs unique in their own right, rather than generic in a certain tonnage class (standard bt mech construction), even if it violates cbt rules.
There's the problem of one-hit-kill configs and poptarts and those nasty missileboating whores, but otherwise, you game's all good (Turn FFP on to avoid poptarts.)
But yea, otherwise M$ sucks.

ive made useful suggestions for a long time that were never listened to, only in recent months have i started acting the way i do. why wasnt i listened to back then?
it is a word of truth. you bring these horrible changes and expect us to dance to your beat despite the fact that we as the players generate the world we play in. if you dont like the way players play then you shouldnt have started making a game. and if you think current changes and upcoming changes are going to make people stop acting like douche bags then you need to re-evaluate what you are doing.
So go ahead. make those vague promises of new stuff, always just over the horizon, sorry guys we have more important stuff to work on than those cool additions we promised you. it happens again and again.
for every 1 decent addition you seem to make 4 or 5 horrible ones. ive played this game on every level it can be played. the fact that im becoming vocal now should set of your alarm bells. considering im such a quiet person normally.
