Abomination Arenas

Just a totally random idea i had to try and get some interest going in the arenas again..I propose "Abomination Arenas." Basically, it's a normal arena,but for upgraded mechs. And to make it fair, each upgrade adds a % modifier to the units BV. So, say you have a 2k BV mech with 50 upgrades, that adds a 50% BV modifier to it (temporary only for the arena) making it 3,000BV. Abomination arenas could be set up as per any normal arena (just select an upgraded mech) and people setting up normal arenas could allow/disallow upgraded mechs to hit the arena. It would be an interesting spectacle to watch, and would open up some new avenues of dueling.

Why on earth would people risk upgraded mechs, rep and skill on the new system which offers no rewards except winning bets ? (the same reason the arenas have died)

Well, the upgrades would stay after the duel, and...umm...I dont know? Damn, I hate it when I get shotdown in one post

I have a mech in my level 11 with 50+ upgrades who will probably never see the light of combat because of the way LWing is handled at that level. Possible, not probable.
I'd love to duel him though, so I support this idea with working out the rough edges.
