o.O? say wah? yeah.. it is a ammo mech now that i look at the TDB heh.. well, tried to make sure it had enough rounds for the primary and secondary weapons; lasers are more AP wepons I suppose. might not be good in a super long fight, but for a close up knock around or where the range of the weapons can be put into place it might serve well.


Max damage at range 1 to 6 hexes is 74 using the following weapons:

Ultra AC/2 (x4)
ATM-12 (x2)
ER Small Laser (x2)

Max damage at range 7 to 15 hexes is 64 using the following weapons:

mebbe at super ranges its not so hard hitting, but it should be able to strike a target steadily as they approach. And I unlike some, I do like AC2's of whatever flavor you want. a.. what.. 40mm shell is so wunderful to say hello with.

At extreme range you're prolly averaging the same as an IS PPC or a Clan ERLL, with better range than either...not bad for a multi-purpose 'Mech. Not to mention that multiple small hits are actually more effective against aircraft and vehicles. Could do a number on many light 'Mechs as well...soften them up enough that a single ATM strike=death. Might be better served trading a 2 of the ultras for LB-Xs to add versatility (better range and accuracy) as well as better ammo efficiency.

Kewl concept 'Mech tho...quite a bit like one of my IS designs...

*hehes* i had actually tought of lbxs but was trying to see how close the tonnage would balance out, since cluster and slug does allow more combat flexibility heh. I Was going to put jump jets in it, might re work the design with them in it and LB for underslung weapons. showed it to someone told me i made a rifleman with an attitude lol.

like so. lost the small lasers, possibly a bad idea, shuffled both ac's ito one arm and a pair of lbx2's in the other, lost some heat sinks gained jumping ability, lbx dosent have a lot of ammo, but cluster rounds can make up for the shortage with multiple impacts.then again 60 max dmg at 15 hex.. wouldnt that make like.. a 40 tonner or less explode? heh
