Overview: Classic! Old School! Your Grandfather could pilot it! Likely. This mech is based on the ancient Rifleman theme; though extra ranged capacity has been done in the form of a pair of LRM5 racks. Given a interest in 'old' style fighting, small numbers of these 75ton mechs have been in production. Basic from skeleton to armor and weapons, matches between these quick, range enabled mechs can be fast,furious or a lengthy cat and mouse game. Well suited for plinking and ranged strikes; the AC/LRM's are the most often used combo, the Md Lasers saved for close combat or to finish the target off. Flashy and heavily based on the orginal design it is a copy of, the mech serves well in the lower S7 arenas and if the need arose a mech scarce Preheipiary could benifit from a few lances of them. Steady production of the mechs; typically in lance sized lots has gone on for almost 2 years now, meaning the 'Classic' design has gained both a small following from retired pilots and oldtech enthusists, matches between these mechs at times heavily betted on.
