------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ==Overview:== The Arc-Hammer is a total mystery that has enthralled researchers for many decades.
It appears to be a Star-League era mech, but little is known of its origins, only that it first appeared at an auction in 2991 and sold for a stunning 30 million C-Bills despite its lack of advanced technology. Though the build quality was superior to anything the Inner Sphere could produce at the time.
==Capabilities:== The Arc Hammer is not the mechs official nomination, the original seems to have been lost in the mists of time. Most believe it was a prototype of some kind.
The seller claims to have gotten it from a prospector who in turn acquired it from a man who dug up the machine in the unspecified ruins of a city destroyed during the Amaris uprising. There are still thousands of such ruins scattered across the Inner Sphere. So the exact origins are unkown.
The Arc-Hammer was painted in Star League camouflage, but all identifying marks were lost, except for a few ID numbers which could not be linked to any known unit.
As a mech, the Arch-Hammer seems to be a hybrid of a Warhammer and Archer. It shares many features of both machines, though it does not appear to have been made from two separate mechs, but rather was purpose-built from the ground up. The right side of the machine matches that of the Warhammer, while the left side is that of an Archer, complete with its trademark crowbar-shaped hand.
This configuration gives the Arc-Hammer a solid punch for a 3025 era machine. It can run hot if it fires all weapons at the same time, but a good pilot with a careful eye on the heat gauge can take on most mechs of its class.
The Arc-Hammer can function as a fire support mech with its LRM20 or as a dedicated anti-mech fighter, like the Warhammer using its PPC and 3 medium lasers. A small laser and machinegun are useful against infantry and light armour.
Featuring the same armour tonnage as the Archer and mounting 15 heat sinks the Arc-Hammer is clearly built for high intensity combat.
==Battle History:== Unfortunately the Arc-Hammer has never seen combat. It showed no battle damage or signs of repair. Computer simulations have revealed that the Arc-Hammer performed quite favourably against opponents in the same tech and weight class. Even in an age of Clan and Star League technology the Arc Hammer is a sound design.
==Variants:== The Arc Hammer was acquired by the NAIS in 3065, after nearly a year of thorough examination, experts concluded that the Arc-Hammer was not an original Star League mech and featured a series of components only found in older second line Clan machines.
A book "The last warrior" published in 3067 by Erich Chung, postulates that the mech is actually one of the Minnesota Tribe mechs, though most experts disagree. It did make its writer a millionaire.
Several manufacturers have shown interest in producing an updated version of this machine though nothing concrete has been proposed so far.
==Notable 'Mechs & MechWarriors:== The Arc Hammer was exhibited on Solaris VII for nearly three decades. Twice did thieves attempt to steal it. It is still fully functional after all these years and several owners have piloted it for short distances. The NAIS have almost fully restored it to its original configuration, sparking cricism from Erich Chung that it was a cover up to destroy evidence about the whereabouts of the Minnesota Tribe.

Like the fluff. Nice mech that isn't to powerful, but isn't a pushover either.

Thanks, this is kind of a fresh idea from which to design by trying to combine mechs. I tried a Zeus and Victor.
