Overview: Deadly, Agile and Silent, these three concepts went into the design of this Battlemech. Based around the popular 'Panther' style DCMS Battlemech, this 40ton unit has a similar angular body with long narrow arms and legs; however its name comes from the hooding around the head section that houses the extensive sensor package, and the typical subdued blue and black patterning on it. With a total sensor package from ECM to BAP and TAG gear, this unit is designed to fit the role of mobile targeting and system by system tracking, allowing it to strike at long ranges with its missile racks and a matched Large and Medium class lasers. [HARD RETURN]Since the machines design is based around target assistance, move in, without being seen and attach a beacon to the target area, its secondary SRM rack contains NARC ammunition only. Speed ranges from a decent 53.75 KPH to a quick 86.1 KPH with jump jet assistance. Weaponry is configured to allow the machines lasers to stay in play as long as possible, the heat curve just slightly over the generation factor. In case the machine is subjected to extended combat, a good 8 tons of armor protect it. Within the cockpit a EI style sensor array, allows further accuracy with the weaponry; overall the mech is a hybrid of sensors and limited Clan style equipment, allowing it diversity in a dangerous field. Against the mech however, its EL Gyro at times can overload, tipping the machine onto its side or back, the engine is also slightly underpowered, despite its great speed; several test pilots complaining of system lag after steady laser fire. Though the mech bears a complete range of sensors and is a NARC unit, it only carries a single load of ammunition for its SRM rack; meaning its battlefield role as a targeting unit is limited; also the test pilots have complained of some of the sensors being badly calibrated for long range. While the mech has Double Heat sinks, their configuration places most of them in the right torso and arm, showing a vulnerable spot should the armor here be damaged heavily. Several of the test pilots have also mentioned that the laser weaponry, while sufficient is ''off the shelf' style, and slightly outmoded by newer equipment, though this complaint is little listened too.

Interesting mech...
You know you can use the UBBCode that is part of the fourm to spread out the stats and give the paragraphs a nice box feel.
