Overview:
Small, unassuming, for the most part this squat Battlemech vaguely resembles a UrbanMech, if someone slapped to scale Mad Cat arms on it of course. For the most part this mech design was a testbed for several technologies, testing was sufficient to have a small unit of them assembled. Using both IS and limited Clan equipment, a group of 8 of these has just finished production, rumor states it is to work as a companion unit to the Black Cobra, in the fashion the venerable Fire Falcon/Black Lanner team used to be.
The mech itself is fast, having a max speed of 86.1 KPH. Weaponry wise however the mech carries four ER small lasers in the gun pods, its up close weapons along with dual MG arrays each with a half ton of ammunition; however the mechs main weaponry is the SRM 2 rack, each carrying semi experimental AspTounge Acid warheads; the lasers used primarily after these weapons have ate through the armor to punch into delicate internals on larger mecha.
Overall the mech has a large sensor and systems package, allowing it reach and the ability to use its limited weapons to good effect, though for its tonnage the mech is somewhat under armed many have said, and the torso mounted cockpit is in a slightly awkward place. Due to the mech carrying a c3 slave, it can be quickly linked into other units to share both sensor and weapons data. Large complaints however that its weapons are below avarage for its tonnage and speed, may limit production, though the mech itself is mostly a test bed for both the new Compact heat sink design and the SRM warheads and the Compact class Gyro.

Interesting mech in that this would be something to see more use by the Combine and ComStar as to the WoB or Marik.

yeah. the factory names, etc just did it random. i like compact heat sinks, they work, dont eat crits, but lot see em as munchy,so did a test bed unit. i think it'd work alright, long as it could stay close where its srms could be best used, retrospect, could probably have gone with one smlas and a med each, but heh.

Can you mix heat sink types? Double and compact? Whats it weigh?

Nope not that I know of. Though you may be able to mix it with lvl 3, im not sure if the sinks in the fusion engine count against it, they may be just normal sinks. TDB dosent let you mix and match, though if you can do patchwork armor it may allow mixing those, or intergrated sinks into the weapon itself
