It reminds me of a Shadow Hawk, but its nice. I have taken a liking to RAC's. Those things can be nasty.

You know you could mount a Targetting computer instead of the SRM4 rack, mind you it would be just a upgraded centurion in weapon configuration if you did that. It does look like a souped up Shadowhawk.
Its a solid design, though in my playing with the 5/8/5 hatchetman with the RAC5 I found a jumping mech with this weapon to be quite ineffective. I found the Centurion with its 6/9 movement better for the weapon than 5/8/5. Still a nice design.

I will take these suggestions and add them in as variants. Thanks guys.
Anyone else have any ideas on this one?

Nice Heat Curve, and some spoils at almost all ranges... I do like it, even if it does look superficially like a SHD... Almost 2 Minutes of Continuous Fire for a Trigger-Happy Gun-Bunny, and decent Backup Lasers and Crit-Punching SRMs...
Definately a seller, and I think its worthwhile with the Jump Jets - You drop a Medium Laser for a Punch if you can get close in Broken Terrain.
Would be a good Urban Warfare Brawler, too - being able to either leap over buildings, or if caught in the open, MASC a Run away...
I'd take an Urban Warfare design which trades up the MASC system for a Second SRM-4 Launcher - increasing its short-range punch in trade for a little bit of straight-line speed...
Where else does it gain points? Standard Structure for ease of repair-replacement - important in an Ammunition-Loaded 'Mech, even if CASE is fitted as standard - which is another point in my books (XL Engine notwithstanding - gotta think over long term, not just one game)
10 Tons of Ferro-Weave Armour - thats Enforcer-Like in its Star-Slab...
Yeah, I'd consider one or two, even though I don't like the Davion RACs... I know one of my MechWarriors would want to trade up that RAC/2 and Ammo - maybe the MASC too, for a LGR - perhaps a (C)GR if I can let him get one in Salvage

I'd get a targeting computer for the RAC/5, you'd do 30 damage on a hit-location if your cannon doesn't jam, thats the only way I'd ever buy into a RAC weapon as a primary weapon. I'd kill the SRM/4, and the MASC, especially the MASC. Fast as hell, with a RAC/5 with a TC? it be unpleasant to all parties concerned.
