This one could be scary if house rules allow turning off heat sinks.

I'd take off the extra HS, SL, .5 tons of armor, and 1 MPLAS, put on 3 MLs and a SPLAS instead. That way you can overheat by 9 when running. Fun mech though

I'll look at that.. would it be able to maintain that lvl of heat regaurdless of movement then?

no, you would have to run all the time to keep heated. Replace another MPLAS with 2 MLs and you'd be able to stand still and overheat by 9.

I'll play around with the design and see what can be done. If I can get it to hit 9 at will and stay there with any movement, then I'll put together some fluff and make it work.

ummm, doesn't it say in the BMR that any # of heatsinks can be turned off, as long as they are declared at the beggining of the turn, and vice versa?
why? becuase. jesus told me to. and you wanna know something else that jesus told me? he said that everytime it rains, it's becuase god is crying over something u did. because god hates you.

Indeed, but it takes quite a bit of Math on the Spot to work it out how to do that and not go overboard, since you do shut them off in the End phase, which is after the Appropriate Heat - and in the middle of battle, its hard to keep records some times...
Most times, its just easier to go overboard completely...
But its fairly typical of a Hatchet Weilding Maniac 'Mech... Just with less Finesse than most...
