==Overview:==
The Harpy Scout LAV has seen operations on many worlds since it's introduction
to the militaries of the Co-Alliance in 3074. The vehicle has gained a strong
following by troops of the Vondor Imperium, for it's high tech electronics and
easy of manitance.

The biggest draw back is the IC engine that it mounts, even with the use of
hydrogen based fuel, the vehilce still is tied to a supplie and that can
become it's major weakness in long ranged operations.

It really needs more armor, it would not survive an encounter with an infantry unit. Its really not survivialable to act as a good spotter, and it'd get knocked out by anything equipped to be annoyed by its ECM. And its really too expensive to justifiy it being relegated to fire-starting duty.

I'd replace its machineguns with some FF armor. It make a good electronic warfare van or something, and it'd still be non-threatening enough keep something from bothing shooting at it, while still manuvering and causing problems for the enemy.

I know the armor is weak, but I was going with the idea that it could run from 80% of things that would or could hurt it. Again smarter tactics can help keep it alive.

It's not meant to be the best of the best just something that is out there for folks to use.

You are suggesting what I thought was very clear, you mold and attapet your tactics to what your vehicles can and can't do. Folks seem to have forgotten that.

yah, the machine is just a machine; i agree with you on that one, the skills and HOW its used is just as important as where you use it, like well for a visal ref how in the MW3 opening vid the smaller firefly mechs, least i think thats what they were, hidd in buildings, used thier speed and the terrain to hide fromthe Summoner long enough to hit it, or distract it for the mad dog to get a lock. raw specs and stats are nothing without the capacity to make use of them to thier fullest extent.
Greetings Mechwarrior.
