Any Hunchback with a GR is fine by me, and one that's faster without an XL is cool.

Actually Mircosoft up tonned the Hollander to 45 tons and added an LB-X10 to in their first Mechcommander game...

I was just going to post that I had found another one with an AC...thanks for the info...
I was not impressed with the 45ton Hollander...at least not how it was modeled in the computer game...

If you are talking about MC2 ok. But if you are talking about MC(G) that was FASA Interactive who made the Hollander II with a gauss rifle and that was one sick mech, even if you tried using a couger against it

Damn.. I certainly know id not expect a hunchy to peg with a guass, good for a surpise mech. Now we need a stealth hunchy call it the er.. ahh... Ghost Hunch!.. seriously though.. yeah gauss backed with lasers.. gives it a good reach and the ability to almost fire at will and not worry about jams, or ammo.
Greetings Mechwarrior.

Yeah, would be quite a surprise... Expecting your 40km/h AC totin' Enemy to Come around the Corner of the Street and have to Slug its way down the City Block, and *Bam* Gauss Rifle from 600m away, before it backs up slowly, the MechWarrior laughing Maniacally over an open channel as you stand their dumbfounded...
I like it, and I honestly don't know why its not more prevalent around... I mean, a Gauss Rifle into a Hunchback's AC seems like a Simple Refit a decent Ranking MechWarrior would be able to get the Battalion Techs to do...

That doesn't surprise me either... I don't understand why its not done more often - save perhaps that someone, somewhere, decided that the Hollander gets that sort of treatment, and the poor Hunchback Rots...
Poor Hunchback ::sniffle::
