Hey gang.
New user here. Long time Battletech... from WAY back. Back when the mechs still looked like the Macross designs. Also a long time user of Nic's awesome web resource (and much kudos to you, sir.)
I've been out of the game for a good long while, but I see that there's revived interest, with new rulebooks coming out and everything. I was wondering what people use for a mech design program these days? Is there anything that's still supported by the community? The Drawing Board was a great program, but I'm guessing it's out of date, and it's a shame it's not still being supported.

Best thing to do is go to here:
www.heavymetalpro.com
And order the Heavy Metal Series of programs they will allow you to be rule legal mechs and you will also have the current and legal mech, vehicle, aero, BA and proto sheets to print out.
Plus the programs are easy to use and allow you to make custom mechs etc...
