Constructed by Lewis Inc., The Lewis 15H was designed as a heaver version of a series of ultra-light air-portable tracked vehicles. Designed and intended as a attached mobile support weapon for elite airborne infantry units, the Lewis is intended to be slung-loaded via a 30-ton VTOL, or loaded into a cargo bay of a heavy VTOL such as the Karnov UR Transport. Equipped with twin ERMLs and a LRM/5, the Lewis has a excellent amount of firepower and armor for its size, With the LRM/5 filling a contractual obligation for the vehicle to possess a long-range indirect fire weapon for supporting infantry operations. The Lewis enables airmobile infantry the armor support they would otherwise lack when deployed on raids and special operations.
Its compact, simple assault gun configuration allows the vehicle to be operated effectively by a single crewman.
The sides of the vehicle are equipped with infantry rails to facilitate the transport of a platoon of infantry in emergency or non-combat situations

Several variets exist, one removing the LRM/5 for two SRM/2s and a ton of ammo, another is equipped with a couple of flamers and 2 tons of fuel. Another replaces all weapons with a single Large Laser.

Whatta think?

That's quite a punch for 15 tons. Also good armour protection. cool vehicle.

I realised soon that the fun part of playing a military game is that we have lots of lifes and in the end knowone dies, ...

Do a Google for the old Soviet ASU-85 paratroop tank. Was something that they would use to provide fire-support to the guys behind enemy lines. Nowadays they use designs like the BMP-2 and -3, so you can check that out as well.

Maybe a MG or two for anti-personnel work (suppresion), or for backing up an infantry advance?

Yeah, soviets used mostlz the <bmd or 'big mother drop' its small, cute and easz to blow up, but its what was going around for along time. The sheridan was a bit too high end and useful to really translate into <BT, a 15 ton vehicle is not enough to do one justice.
machinewguns would work, just replace the <LRM5 with 4 machineguns, a halfton of ammo and an extra halfßton of armor<- stupid german kezboard.... anzwzazs wish it had the right kezs
