I am currently looking for a vehicle design to use as a garrison unit on a mining world. The specifications are below, and any attempts would be welcome.
Weight: 50t max
Cost: 1,000,000 CBills
Chassis: wheeled or tracked
Tech base: up to 3
Engine type: any, although ICE would be cheapest
Owner: IS

Hmm. The TR:3060 Myrmidon would be perfect but for the cost of 1,393,467CB, "only" 40% over target. It's fusion powered, armed with a PPC, SRM 6, 40 tons, moves 5/8, and has a decent 9 tons of armor.
My next suggestion would be the TR:3058 Po. That's 4/6 ICE, armed with an AC/10 and twin MGs, has 10.5 tons of armor, is 60 tons, and is just a hair over the price limit at 1,064,800CB.

Hmm, think I will go with the Po. Fits perfectly for what I am aiming, especially the low tech base, the conventional engine and the lack of energy weapons.

There are also cheesier, smaller vehicles, like the Scorpion and Vedette, but the Po is a solid performer.

zou could go with the mz old ÄEjercito design but its 60 tons, and costs about 25k cßbills over 1 mil and it has a guass rifle#

I have two designs as possibilities:
The Horus, a 25ton tracked Fusion level 1 turreted tank w/ 7.5 tons armor 5/8 movement and a PPC - just over half a million each
and
The Malice, a 50ton, wheeled ICE turreted vee with 9.5 tons armor and an AC/10 and SRM-6 - 860,000 cbills
The Horus was made to be a cheaper Schrek - a platoon is only a tad over 2 million, and has far more usability:)
