==Overview:==
The Van Zant Industries' Beaurguard LCAV (Light Combat Assault Vehicle) was
built for smaller nation states and milita units in mind. It was built using
an armored car chassis and upgraded to a combat assault vehicle by adding in
some heavier firepower and more armor.

Many militas along the spinward border of the Vondor Imperium are using the
Beaurguard LCAV and they have had many caeses of succes against pirates and
other raiders. Police Speaical Weapons, Tactics and Rescue have been using the
Beaurguard for many years and have found it to be a very useful vehicle to
have around.

Going on 23 years of sales and service, the LCAV is a very common sight on
many border worlds.

No speed to outrun heavier opponents, and no armour to take the resulting damage...

But it could work as a patroller I guess. How does it look with a LAC/5 instead? Maybe use the extra space for a SRM2-pack?

I was going for cheap and limited use, more of the stuff one would find on a world that really only rates militia units or a over armed police force.

The LCAV would be fast enough in an urban enviorment where it could move from position to position etc...

A LAC5 and SRM would up the cost more then readily aviable AC5 and MG....

Would the min range on the AC-5 hurt it in an urban environmant where a lot of the fighting is done close to or at point blank range?

It looks very close to a wheeled version of the scorpion tank. Nothing wrong with that, cheap reliable and effeciant.

Maybe trade the AC-5 for an SRM-6, add a little more armor and enough room for an Infantry platoon for a more effective urban enviornment? Hurts your range, but you don't need much in a city.

Just my thoughts

Smart tactical player will know his weapons and know when to fall back as well.

A SRM variant has possibilities and I will add it in as a variant.
