==Overview:==
A recent design from Koda Works, a company who as spent a lot of time building armored vehicles. The Vanquisher is a mech that can give withering firepower in short order.

This mech has shown that on the battlefield it can suppress just about anything it meets. The hope is with this rate of firepower the Vanquisher will find a home in the Fed-Com military and other military forces as well.

Koda Works has set a rate 20 mechs a month and it claims it can meet any order placed with them for any number.

==Capabilities:==
What gives the Vanquisher it's repuatation is the two Kallon Rotary Autocannons it carries. They can push out a rate of fire of up to 500 rounds a mintue thus allowing the mech to make short work of anything it meets.

The biggest drawback here is the consumtion of ammo, and to cover this the engineers added in two Holly-Denning Long Range Missile and two Larkin Short Range Missile systems to allow the Vanquisher to conserve on autocannon ammo.

Rounding out the weapons spread are two Falcon Mediums. The Falcon lasers are from a new company and it is hoped that they will do very well and give both compaines more business.

==Battle History:==
None as of yet.

==Variants:==
Two variants are in the works, one involves pulling the XL and going with EndoSteel and Case.

The other just adds in EndoSteel and Case.

Nice 'Mech. I like the RACs...

But I would be inclined to drop the LRMS for larger SRM packs and/or a bigger engine.

If you give it ES and remove the LRMs, you can get a 350XL, or just use a 280 Standard. I am not a bg fan of IS XL Engines.

Aside from the above, you need to change the name. The Word of Blake already has a Vanquisher (VNQ-2A, I believe) and you would not want them to get confused.

I had forgotten about the WoB mech...damn...I can give it a better name...

Your ideas are close to what I had in mind for some variants and I can add them to the list...

Now to find a new name, blasted WoB...someone needs to remove them...

Valid point...I was trying to keep the flavor of the CAV version, but I do see your point...

How 'bout taking those LRMs out, upgrading the SRMs to Streak 6s and adding a ton of RAC ammo and perhaps a TAG desgnator or extra Heat Sink?

Each to his own, eh? Perhaps if you drop the SRM-4s for some Medium Lasers or a TC...

*Bow*

Thank you, thank you! ;)

How about consolidating the LRMs into a single 10-rack, giving it Artemis and sticking it in the CT?

Because, for that tonnage, you could add a *third* LRM-5.

Also, a couple questions: Why have 24rds per LRM?
Why use a 1/2 ton of armor just to get 1 point?
Other than that, I like it.
My suggestions: Go back to 13.5t armor (lose 1 pt of the rear center torso) and drop an SRM-4 rack, add Endo Steel, add 2t RAC/5 ammo, and either: 1. add two LRM-5s or 2. drop all the LRM racks for a single LRM-15+AIV with 2t ammo.
That last just depends on your preference.
