Are you ready for a new age Mechwarrior that has the latest in technology and graphics?!

Well, so are we! And that's why we're creating a NEW Mechwarrior MOD with the latest 3D engine known as the Cryengine2. Our Mod team is fully supported by "Crytek" who is the creator of Crysis and Farcry. And have been given the go ahead by Microsoft to use the name Mechwarrior for our newest title.

Come See our latest updates on fully modeled Mechs, Tanks, Aerospace vehicles and even Battlesuits (IE: Longinus, Elemental)

If you like our mod, be sure to vote for our mod at ModDB for Mod of 2007:

i assume this is based on MW4. i have not played mw4 yet, as i was told the mech coustomazation was quite different from mw2-3 and "battletech". has this been changed with this mod, or any previous mod? i personally would not have a problem with mechs not being coustom, like it was in MW 1.

if the personalizing of mechs is along the old lines, what if any effort has been made to prevent/nerf missile/laser boats?

to answer your question:
none because atm everything is still very much being balanced...but at this time missle boats dont have a lock on...so already it makes it a hell of alot more difficult. To piggy back on that, once everything is balanced it will be a very enjoyable game!

The mechs are going to be very close to the Battletech series in reference to Clan and IS Mechs.

This mod is going to be nothing like MW4, every mech is going to be fully customizable to suit the players needs, and also keeping the load outs respectable to each mech and Clan (IS or Clan). We have a CBT/MW GURU who knows everything in respects to speed, loadouts, weapon ranges, who uses what, and why, so yes we have everything covered in this mod.

For everyone else, We've made Phase 2 in the voting series for ModDB, Thanks for everyone that participated in the voting. But now we need your help more then ever! Since Phase 2 has commenced we've made top 100 out of 4000 mods. To vote for us this phase you just need to simply register and vote!

Last time I checked, you needed a MONSTER of a PC to run Crysis. Are you expecting a serious fan-base?

Not true, our mod is designed for DirectX 9 and DX10 at a later release, a 7 series GPU can easily handle this kind of material. We've got you covered!

And our fan base is pretty high seeing that we made top 100 out of 4000 mods and we are currently getting 2.7 millions hits on our website a month.

on our newsletter nights we get 100, 000 hits and 9,000 of those are unique hits. So yea, I'd say we have a pretty good fan base.

Hi guys !
I noticed your team, as I play ET:QW. I really appreciate your move and I have to admit you did and continue to do a great work for this project.
However I really don't understand why you switch the project to Crysis, as it was announced for ET:QW, which is really a great game for a Battletech adaptation...
I'm not here to flame nor something else, but here to know why such a decision.

Thanks! I appreciate all the support and comments!

We found that the CryEngine2 was a much more versatile 3d Engine then ET:QW. The Engine that ET:QW provide is not nearly as flexible and useful as the Cryengine2 so we decided the best thing to do was move the mod over to the newest technology that would better fit the needs of the Mod

Ok, thank you for your explaination.
All in all, be sure, when the mod will include all Clan stuff I love, I'd buy Crysis (even if I must sell an organ to buy the PC that comes with it) and play this beautiful-already mod.

about model : a more simplist Kodiak model would have been cool too. I noticed you really did an impressive modeling work on this one, but the "standard" kodiak and the AoD kodiak are more simplist than that. The only time I saw such a Kodiak was on a CCG card.

Oh, and by the way, continue this good work guys

Hi Inous !
It's still a pleasure to read news about you mod.
I'm watching your vids and frankly, if the mod is out like that, it would be the best mod I'd see in a game. (actually my best is Steel Legion for WH:40k DoW)
I'm also sure, if you deal with Crysis' editors, you may make this mod an highly-sought after official mod.
Keep up with this good work boys !
