Just read back and saw you in #neveron.
Very glad to have read one thing in particular. That you intend to spend time in chan, reconnecting with your playerbase.
Kudos for that, and I look forward to it.
And also, hope your family issue takes a turn for the better. That sucks.

Observations:
WWS seems to acnowledge that we were left in a substantial lurch over the past few months. He indicates that he intends to spend more time in #neveron. He says he has been plotting possible changes to the game's fundamental direction. And he admits, shockingly to me, that war on Neveron "sucks ass".
He certainly needs to spend what time he needs being there for his great aunt. Family emergencies are always priority. But when he gets back, when Neveron can justifiably receive his attention, we'll see how real this motivation is and how decicated to fixing Neveron he really is.
I'm not being an ass by saying that. I'm just putting into words what I know most of you are thinking. I've always considered myself to have a fairly accurate bullshit detector, and I don't get any real red alerts from any of the above, so I am cautiously hopeful and optimistic.
Besides, WWS spent an hour and a half chatting with his customers today. That's the best we've seen in two years I think. Gotta be some kinda sign.

Well, in those 2 hours, he's fixed quests, raids, scrap/decommm and dp subs, which is frankly more useful work than Randy ever did in a month. He also gave out free DP, which I personally love, though I only ended up with 5. Still, others ended up with more, so I can just scab from them come zone doubler time 
I am hopeful that Wayward can turn Nev around - we've actually been seeing increased player numbers recently. Certainly if he keeps up the player contact there is a good chance.

Well, I login this morning to find a VERY nice surprise!
10% back in DP, WWS thank you very much. It is a very nice gesture, and I personall really appreciate it.
makes me wish I hadn't sold my main empire so I could have somthing to spend the DP on
