When are infantry coming back?

I have been away from Neveron for awhile but when I left infantry were just taken out but I assumed they wouldbe put back in with some changes. Well I am back now and my dream of owning a entire battalion of jump srm or mg infantry seems to be impossible now.
Now I dont have to tell you I am no expert at Neveron and at LW I am basically very Noobish but dammit I just loved the idea of my elite battalion of Inf in some rugged zone with trees everywhere, jumping all over the place and bum rushing some 100ton mech and tearing him a new one. I am sure people have tried it and I know it wouldbe expenisve but a dream is a dream!
Is there any plans to bring infantry back o ris that it for the little guys?

As far as I know, there are no detailed plans to reimplement them in the near future. There's other stuff that WWS could do which would have a better effect on the game.

Since you left, we have also been reduced to 1 part time Admin, so many things on the to do list wont get done in the near future.
As for last wsord from WWS on Infantry in general, the plan was to take away thier unbalanced nature, via tweaking etc, then add them back.
Depending on what other new changed get added in the future, that may change. Will have to wait and see what happens...

the main problem witht them was in abr so its a pitty WWS cant just set there ideal range the same as there longrange and not let people change it, that way tey wouldnt always move to 0 range unless some one was controling them
