Picked up the Tech Manual that is spose to be "THE" book for construction in the battletech universe under catalyst games. While i can build an ambulance or a foot platoon or even a piece of farm machinery, i can't build a bunker with weapons? Are the rules to be covered in another book or did i miss something?
I have used them from time to time building them from the Battletech compendium (original) and there is even an old senerio pack that uses them heavly (mcarrans(sp?) armored calvery).
Yeah they are situational, yes they are sitting ducks ect, ect... but they can be a nice surprise to an unwary foe.
