Well, by Old I am meaning peeps that have a registered date as Old as mine. Though I do not have the time to play now days. I do from time to time pop in to see how things have changed. This being one of them.

There's a couple around still. Some people have forum accts that date later than their in game accts too (sometimes by a couple years). I had been playing for about a year or so before I created a sarna acct for instance. But yeah, there's a small handful of oldies left.

Yeah, I was playing before Neveron went with the Sarna forums too. As this point though, its really the only way to show one's true age in the game. I have had a few empires, but being in the miltary they never lasted long since there has never been a vacation mode. By the way is there one yet?

Unfortunately, no. And not only is there no vacation mode. There is no admin to code a vacation mode.

Well that still sucks. That was always a key issue for myself and many others. I knew alot of people thatplayed were in the military and hated to leave and find their empire in ruin or just not there at all.

There IS a vacation mode,
The problem is that no player knows where the button is, but the admins do and use it a lot of times :P.

not at all, a vacation require two things: having worked before, returning later. So it's abandon mode, actually not mode, but state.

Fine, today its couldy but hot and a lot of humidity.
Much better than in S of spain where they are burning like torches.

I'm not sure how old I am on Sarna, but I've got 4 empires in top 40 for age, including two with empire id's below 5,000..crazy hey.

Hey speaking of weather, hows the weather in MI there Tobias? Serving in the Navy and I am from Detroit, but living in South Carolina atm where its hot and humid beyond belief. Maybe one day I will have time to restart a empire and play again.

Hot and rather muggy downstate- last couple of weeks has been 90-ish (temp and humidity both) in southern mich. Up north where I live, low 80's in both- which is pretty damm warm (for us at least).

I just check in every couple of months or so. I Alpha tested with Randy when the game was just a few hexes wide and fights were 7 infantry v. 7 infantry. I did get to play with a few mechs before my empire was wiped out in '02-ish. Stopped playing soon after...long, long ago. Now on the other game. But you asked, so I thought I'd answer.

it's traditionaly the name of the spanish footbal team at our universities internal match every summer. The guy who announces it really can't say 'r', so it will most likely stay.
some of my friends considered this sentence also very funny when i say it, as i pronounce the 'r' at least as stronger as most in spain do. in that aspect bavarian is a bit similar to scotish, we didn't adopt the custom with thos lame 'r' :-)

Well, this player since 2004 jsut recently added himself to the Assoc. of Former Nev Players. And I think My Lvl 10 I gave up was the very first one I created though it is not on the topp 100 empires by Age list. (shrug)

Wow!
Wow again... to different things. First i must have created an account way back (i really mean waaaaay back) but have never used it... there was one message and it was unread.
Okay, i was just checking back to see how things are around here and with neveron. Since i am only a few weeks away from finishing my PhD i thought i come back. But reading through the forums and looking into #neveron it sounds like the game is over. Its a pity since i really loved it although could never understand why they (meaning Randy and WWS) never really tried to ... hmmm lets say give their best in marketing and programming... or even better not their best but someone elses best...
Anyways... if there are still old guys around, it would be nice to see a few again.
