Ok, When did Denebola secede from the Terran Alliance?
I have dates of 2234, 2235 and 2236? Which is it?

Gee...the latest books are contradictory. The House Steiner Handbook, pegs the Secession as 2236:
In 2236, the worlds of Denebola and Freedom became the first Alliance colonies to declare independence, sparking the start of the Outer Reaches Rebellion --pg12, HSHB.
While the House Davion Handbook says 2235:
When Denebola declared its independence from the Terran Alliance in 2235, no one should have been surprised. Sooner or later, some world would defy Alliance authority and take its destiny into its own hands. --pg12, HDHB.
I'll ask around and see what's up.

House Marik has it at 2234.
Now these are the House books that I've been checking. I haven't gotten to the "Handbooks" yet.
I understand that there are competing force here. Denebola secedes, Freedom secedes which are the starting points of the Outer Reaches Rebellion, plue the "8 month" communications lag.
So there is a little wiggle room but if one is trying to pin down "Denebola" it seems problematic.

The matter's getting some informal research from the BT fact checkers. It might move up to the status of errata shortly.
However, your wiggle room points more or less match the first responses from them.
