ProgressQuest cracks me up, but not as much as Kingdom of Loathing...don't actually play either, though.

recently revisited:
http://www.progressquest.com/
and noticed a new option ("Progress Quest in Your Browser". no client software download required):
http://www.progressquest.com/play/
My new "Half-Halfling" toon is already on its unstoppable, 'heroic' way to the top, wading through hordes of "under-nourished" creatures, following 'epic' quest lines, like "fetch me a stone", or "deliver this bandage", while accumulating XP, piles of shiny gold - and 'epic' gear sets, while running in a browser tab in the background ...
It's free to play, so why don't you join the slaughter?
Have a nice day / night.
