I was wondering... how many people have actually tried to make a fanon faction?
I'm currently working on one myself - a minor periphery realm.
Any thoughts?

I have a few. One was the Kadeshi from Homeworld that ended up in being a clan, and the others ended up in becoming periphery powers akin to Russia-like states.

I made my own, with full history of how it came to be an its place in the BT universe.
My bandit kingdom is one solar system. Though what it lacks in size it makes up in military defense strength. The reason that its just one solar system is my combat units. I go with mass of units over quality of units. I have just one reinforced company of battle mechs. But I have five armies of light vehicles. Moving an army of that size is just not practical going from solar system to solar system. I can afford such a large army only because I build all of my own tanks and VTOLs. My company Assinine Industries builds a large quantity of light tanks and VTOLs for my self and export.
Why argue if the glass is half full or half empty, when you know someone is going to knock it over and spill it anyways.
