Just did a quick review of some of newtypes posts and our responses and this is it.

These people have owned newtype with words or pics in there responses:

Lafeel >>> 24
Cray >>> 3
MacLeod >>> 10
Kovax >>> 12
Donkey >>> 19
PoD >>> 27
Fang >>> 13
Venom >>> 1
GiovanniBlasini >>> 9
Toscotto >>> 2
Christopher Perkins >>> 25
Karagin >>> 1
Lefric >>> 5

And that's how many times.... in all of 50ish of his posts....

Tho they have been most amusing i think it's time we starved this troll and let him die... it's obvious he's not gonna get bloated and leav if we keep feeding him so let's just all hit the /ignore buttons and be done with it.

But posting images is so.../b/ like.

Ah, well, he did outlive his shelf life, so now he's been demoted from my "Pet" to "Old Yeller".

... There's an ignore button?

Sooth, my paradigm has shifted.
Drugs don't kill people, pancreatic cancer kills people.

... and whoever heard of a drug that causes pancreatic cancer?

It's not what he "made" us do, it's what we willingly did in response to blatant stupidity. It's not like our replies did anything harmful, aside from pummelling someone's self esteem, if he even noticed.

What this forum needs is a "Censor" button, that if enough different accounts clicked it, the targeted account would be "censored" for a certain amount of time. The only problem with something like that would be if it were abused by someone with multiple accounts (like that someone who's the cause of the situation here).

The second problem, underlying the more obvious one here, is that the moderator is inactive, so there's no way to address the problem through "normal" channels.

Meanwhile, I think that the philosophy of "ignoring the problem" is generally a bad idea, but in this specific case it might just work. Just don't call him a "troll", because that creates a negative impression of trolls in general.

Frustrated that I'm getting more advanced rules to become Total Warfare rules? Or maybe you're just jealous of my superior intellect.

Well, which are you - frustrated as mentioned above or jealous as mentioned above?

Name a single rule you've put forth that's been published in Total Warfare. One. Proof will also require you point to where you originally suggested said rule, which will be required to show that said suggested predated publishing.

Now your being unfair. You should start with easier ones with newtype. Like asking, "Prove that you're not suffering from delusions of adequacy".

Well, thinking back, never mind. There are sociologist that believe that OJ is innocent of any wrong doings.

My, God, I just got an education about Mudkips from the Urban Dictionary. Okay, so, learned a new word. I wish I had that when Bop drives burst on rec.games.mecha a decade ago.

Speaking as a Total Warfare writer: HeroChip did not contribute in any way to Total Warfare rules.

Nope. There's only one person who needed the verification before he tried to run too far with his self-invented claims.

I'm the one with the remote influencing education. I was the first to propose having a unit equipped with TAG be capable of using its TAG and mounted weapons in the same turn (a rule idea Peter Smith opposed but later became a Total Warfare rule). I was also the first to propose integrating the BMR(r) and AT2(r) books into one book (Total Warfare) which many ClassicBattleTech.com members disagreed with and also as to why I got my first ban from that website. I was also the first to have proposed the advanced vehicle critical hits location table be made into that one book (another rule idea Peter Smith opposed). I posted these proposals on www.Solaris7.com. Obviously my remote influencing got alot accomplished. http://www.grillflame.net/forums

No, Cray is quite aware of your supernatural powers of self delusion, just like the rest of us.

Well, after learning about HeroChip's remote brain control of BT's writers, I guess I don't even the see point of my post. But I should've known that when I was trying to talk rationally with Chip about the bop drive 10 years ago on rec.games.mecha.

I think His Most Royal's response was more constructive: Delusional, thy name is HeroChip (or NewType, or whatever sock puppet he's using today.)

Eh, just don't let it get to ya'. He'll probably get bored of hearing the same responses from us and eventually leave into these series of tubes we call the internet.

Frustrated, Cray, that you're now acknowledging that the dual U bop drive works and don't know what to do? I've already got a dual fan drive to work (the drive masses 2.5 kilograms and can pull an additional 2.5 kilogram load for about one meter every two minutes).

Please stop making it so easy on us.

I hate to stick up for Newtype, but Greens and Natural Lawers are not Commies. Left wing and or socialist, but not commie.

Please don't irritate the politcal science major in me.

And Newtype says enough stupid crap that we don't have to make stuff up to mock him for, either.

I had the definitions backwards between communism and socialism. Not that there really is much of a difference between the two when you come down to it. The socialist system is the posses to become a communist system.
