Can't research with 30 residentials and 2 labs

Hello
since i started my empire i had over 4:1 raport between residential and laboratories
Past 3 days i had 30 residentials and 3 labs, same levels.
Still, the same 0% research, i cant start any research because the jobs are not filled.
I don't understand , please help.

i think what gwb ment to say was check yore empire stats/economic stats.....
it's on the main empire page right under the tabs......kind of in the middle of the screen above your claimed units.....
click on stats.....then economic stats when the new page loads......
it will tell you if you need more pop, or more jobs.........
another thing you may want to do is look under the finance tab.......click on zone check.......you may have borked up pop in some of your zones.......

Also, as a new player you probably aren't aware, so I'll spell it out:
Neveron is not under active development. It is barely even maintained. It is just one small step away from being "abandoned". So be aware of that if you have any inclination to donate or otherwise dedicate a whole lot of time to the game.
Just a word to the wise, I don't want to see anyone without knowledge of the game's condition to get burned.

Stats says i have 160 commercial workers but i dont have any commercial buildings
Also my land area km2 is equal to pop, this number didn't change for the past 4 days
Something is borked 
To bad for this game, its kinda unique on the net.

Try these...
1 - Go to the finance tab select 'Zone Check'
2 - Go to Build tab select 'Flags' then click on the Update Flagged Zone button.
3 - If there is still a problem, then also under the Build tab, select 'Zones' then when that page shows check buildings under construction. Also may need to look at any Buildable zone and manually check to see if any zone has incomplete buildings. Incompletes have a way of reserving population especially for Commercials.
4 - Using directions in item 3, may need to manually select 'Correct Population' button for each zone.

Land area is equal to pop? So with 160 commercial workers you have a population of 640?
