Exoskeleton - Loadbearing powered system that can resemble rods attached to the wearer (light - probably what PA(L) are built around), a little heavier rods or structure able to carry up to 1000 kg (medium- yes this is what standard BA are built around), or a stripped down Kanazuchi or possibly the Exo from Aliens

Powered Armour (light) adds some armour to the Light industrial Exoskeleton, but generally does not incorporate weapons,
the most simple would be wearing unpowered combat armour over a Light ExoSkeleton,
Powered Armour will generally be carrying Infantry Weapons (something the rules REALLY got wrong) in their hands, 2 out of 7 troopers will be carrying Portable, Semi-Portable or Support Machine Guns or Portable, Semi-Portable or Support Lasers, or Pulse Lasers, or 4 out of 7 troopers will be carrying Light SRM(2 tubes, 1 Damage Per), SRM/HSRM(1 tube, 2 Damage Per) or LRM(1 tube 1 Damage Per) launchers

BattleArmour - Powered armour that has heavier armour than the PA(L) suit in addition, Battle Armour generally has attached Weapons. Light and Medium BattleArmour are based off the Medium Exoskeleton, and Assault BattleArmour appear to be based off the Heavy Industrial Exoskeleton.

It is my opinion that all statements should be questioned, digested, disected, tasted, and then either spit out or adopted... RHIP is not a god given shield
