recently (Easter 2009) (re)visited:

[in my very humble opinion an interesting MMO RPG related site, bustling with activity, probably simply due to its large amount of members and or visitors (= vibrant community, much more variety (many different games to talk and or discuss about))]
and stumbled upon the following thread:

[By the way, any Nev-related déjà-vu feelings (rampant noob 'ganking' on "Noob Cannibal Island" (TM))?
Could there (soon?) be any more or less serious issues with new player retention at other niche games too?
And why does Darkfall (= Danger, 'hardcore' PvP environment ahead! Beware - new players - there might be battle hardened, Ultima Online stylish, veteran gank squads already waiting for some fresh noob meat for the experience points grind(er). Sign up - and or enter (if you can buy the game online) - at your own risk ...) apparently offer more Player vs. Environment, PvE, elements (like respawning NonPlayerCharacters, NPCs, (e.g. Goblins, etc. = monsters / mob(ile)s)) than Neveron (only one Auto-Quest, no respawning Auto-Quests on demand, no respawning AI pirates (= no NPCs) on demand ...)?
Isn't today's Neveron - at least to some degree - even more 'hardcore' than Darkfall - simply due to its lack of PvE elements?
Where are Neveron's PvE elements?
Where are our NPCs (AI pirates on demand)?
Where are our relaunchable Auto-Quests (on demand)?
Where is our innocent, instant action, NPC fun stuff for the masses?]
