Is Neveron finally Dead?

I heard about the weeks of login issues this month and thought I'd check it out. I can't login either, with my little single empire (level 1) annoyance login.
Has Neveron finally succumbed to inattention and lack of care?
Even if it comes back up in a day, week or month, has this downtime struck the final blow?
Personally I think Neveron needs to just die, and release those that are still trapped within its gravity field to reengage real life, and find new and better games to play.
Neveron was fun, back in the day, and as a concept it has few rivals for sheer grandiosity and vision, but lets face it... Neveron has not been worth one shit since 2006.
In the end, if this IS the end, I hope you'll all look at this game's community and history a little differently. Asd I have learned to do. Time softens the hate, and that contrast lets you see the story for what it was... very cool, even when it was dirtied up by the same old bullshit.
